HTC has unveiled the HTC Desire V their first Android powered handset with dual SIM support. The Desire V will run on Android 4.0 along with the Sense 4 user interface. This ultra slim handset also comes with a 5 MP camera.

Desire V weighs 114 grams with a 9.3 mm thickness. The handset is equipped with a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It can houses two SIM cards and does support 3G and 2 G networks.

It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7227A processor clocked at 1 GHz with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory along with microSD slot. This one too comes with the DSP beats audio – audio chip. There is also a 5 MP rear auto focus camera with LED flash.

Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built in GPS, 3.5 mm jack, FM radio and micro USB port. The Desire V comes with 1650 mAh battery (Li-ion) and is loaded with Light, Proximity and Accelerometer sensors.

HTC Desire V dual SIM price and released date (in India) is not known. There is another model called the HTC Desire VC which is similar to the V model but supports dual SIM (CDMA and GSM).
