  1. Gogi ji, I want to buy laptop for my personal use as I am working in a company where I have to check and send mails on holidays/week days also. My budget is limited and I need VFM laptop for long run. I just saw DELL INSPIRON N3542 CORE I3 4TH GEN 4GB RAM 1TB HDD WINDOWS 8.1, 1YR WARRANTY in for Rs.27k. Pls advise if it is good buy. Any other suggestions are also welcome.

    1. For your usage you can also do with a netbook, but better get the best as per your budget. Go with at least core i3.

  2. This Laptop is basically for travellers and people on the go. ( inbuilt 3G Sim HSPA WWAN ), and for those who use laptop mainly for mails, excel, work etc. you wont get W8 license in any other laptop at this price point

  3. processor is bit low spec but performance will be good thanks to solid state drive(SSD)……we will have to use micro SD card for storage. flipkart is giving 32gb microsd for just 199 with this laptop.

  4. I need just one reason for not buying a Full Fledged laptop that would nearly cost the same amount and would offer more than 250gb a better processor a better RAM config and sutely a far better performance.

  5. There are cheaper alternatives from Asus and all with more storage like 500GB HDD around 16 to 17K

And you can easily replace the HDD with a 120GB SSD and you will get a very fast machine.

My own laptop is an aging I3 with a fast Samsung SSD. I never feel like replacing it eventhough its more than 3 year old now

  6. Specs are good but why the hell is this Celeron processor with 1 MB Cashe.
There are so many other Quad core processors available.
    What u say Gogi..???
