At the Honor 8 Pro launch event the Honor Band 3 was also announced, this is a fitness wearable that comes with heart rate sensor and it is also water resistant up to 50 meters. This Band 3 fitness band from Honor will also go on sale on Amazon by end of July 2017.
Honor Band 3 features an OLED display – 0.91 inches POLED with 128 x 32 pixels resolution, it is a fitness band that can keep track of your steps, calories, can monitor your sleep, give call alerts with caller ID and can also give alerts from social networks like Twitter/Facebook, for your emails and calendar alerts.
This fitness band makes use of Bluetooth 4.2 and it is compatible with iOS and Android platforms. Another unique thing about this wearable band is it comes with heart rate sensor that can continuously monitor your heart rate.
The Honor Band 3 is dust and water resistant (5 ATM). Weight is 18 grams and there is a 105 mAh battery that on a full charge gives up to 30 days of battery life.
Looks like a good option, all depends on the price. The Honor Band 3 will hit the stores this month, official price has not yet been disclosed.
