The Honor 7X and the Mi A1 is available in the markets and priced almost the same. So which one is the best dual camera smartphone. Here is the Honor 7X vs Mi A1 comparison. The 7X and the Mi A1 both come with dual camera setup – on the back.

If you are looking for looks the Honor 7X no doubt is the best option. 7X comes with a 5.93 inch screen with full HD+ resolution and with 2.5D curved glass. The 7X offers 18:9 aspect ratio and that gives a really good and different user experience.

The Mi A1 comes with 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution. This 18:9 full view display is the latest trend and A1 comes with 16:9 aspect screen. Now let’s move on to other features. Now both the handsets come with dual cameras on the back.

Honor 7X review

Though both these handsets camera quality is excellent, the dual camera mode shot on Mi A1 are much better than the Honor 7X. Not only this the hardware performance is better on the Mi A1. The A1 is powered by snapdragon octa core processor whereas the Honor 7X is using Kirin octa core processor. You can play high end games on A1 with ease but on the 7X you will need to reduce the graphics quality for better experience.

Xiaomi Mi A1 review

Even in terms of battery performance the Mi A1 offers better battery life, you can get 5 to 9 hours of non-stop usage on the A1 and 5 to 6 hours of non-stop usage on the Honor 7X.

Check the detailed review of Honor 7X and the Mi A1 to get a better idea in general. No doubt when it comes to look the 7X is better but for everything else the Mi A1 is a step ahead.

    1. Sorry fgot to mention camera.
      Sony iMX
The Meizu M6 Note comes with a Sony IMX362/Samsung 2L7 camera on the back with an ƒ/1.9 ultra-wide aperture, 1.4μm pixel CMOS image sensor and a 6P custom lens. All this to deliver a revolutionary camera experience.

      1. Coolpad 1 having excellent cameras , but no brand value like Meizo in India.
        Mi currently ruling in India
surpassed Samsung atleast under 15k segment.

  6. Xaiomi is best selling mobile. Look at the reviews and ratings every time u get 4+. Xaiomi any time acha mobile brand hai ye mai nhi all 10 million(may be more) people bolrahe hai. And one more thing because of Xaiomi other bands have no option to stay in market and hence they reduce there margin.

  7. Sir mi k har phone main maine ye bug not kia hai flip to mute kabhi chalta hai kabhi nahi per 6x main ye proper work karta hai . Mi a1 main 4g signal drop ki problem bahut hai. 9. Gogiji, don’t it wrong… But since 2012 I have been using G700 of Huawei till now without any issue and frequent drops on floor …comparison between mi mobile with huawei is like Samsung vs micromax….every better aspect of micromax/Xiaomi cannot stand whe it comes to quality, durability, longevity, reliability and much more..

    1. Bro, Hope you have used Xiaomi mobile, coz it will make sense to comment after using the brand. Xiaomi is a great company when it comes for all the above terms you have mentioned along with affordability. I accept that Huawei is also a good brand, But please do not make any comparison with Samsung/Micromax vs Xiaomi as both these brands are not up to the par, especially Samsung until you shell out more cash. Until 2014 Redmi 1GB ram launch Samsung was fooling people in India with crappy S-duos 1,2,3 with 512 mb, 4.0 inch TFT screen. Since then the launch of Xiaomi products in India better specs came out, believe me or not still you receive the OS update for most of the device in Xiaomi. Please do some research on Xiaomi vs Samsung product lineup that will help you to understand the present stand in the market.

    2. Xiaomi phones are like micromax???????? Are you nuts???? Are you a fool? Check some reviews and see in this site too, their phones are always at the top of best phones to buy list.

    3. use mi a1 black color then u will get idea of how mi phones performs in terms of camera, performance, durability, build quality design

      1. Design is a weak point for Xiaomi though. They tend to look pretty generic and don’t feel good in the hand. The screens are pretty boring in color reproduction and vividness. And we still haven’t seen either OLED screens or a S8 clone with the curved edge to edge display which far more inexperienced companies like Elephone have turned out at cheaper prices. Even MIUI has a lot of kinks and things like OTG support go in and out across updates(but online support for flashing ROMS, rooting, software packages etc is outstanding)

Xiaomi need to go from being just a solid company to one that can get a little creative, at least with some of their releases. That’s the next step for them.

  10. Somehow I am skeptical about the battery life claim. Even my Honor 6x had better battery life than Mi A1. And in terms of camera, even Honor 6x consistently produces better looking shots but Mi A1 captures more detail. So it depends on your need

But anyway hold on for the Huawei Nova 2s. If that phone sees a 23 k launch for the base 4 gb RAM 64 gb ROM model(possible as Huawei phones in India in recent times have been consistently priced below the exchange rate) it will set the market on fire.

Kirin 960(same as Honor 8 Pro!) 3350 mah battery with fast charging, NFC and all sensors – basically Honor 8 Pro minus IR blaster and 2k screen and with a slightly smaller battery – but with 18:9 aspect ratio, Oreo out of the box and better back camera and much better front camera, it will offer outstanding value for money. So better to wait and see if it will get an Indian launch.

    1. Well said, I am also not sure why Indian reviewers are complaining about camera performance and battery life, Emui is very well optimized. While all the western reviewers have given thumbs up in all aspect.

  12. Mi note 3 (not available in india) is rated as best camera phone by DXO mark under 25k.
