Gionee Elife E6 officially launching today watch live event

The awaited Gionee Elife E6 (do more with less) will be launched today in India. The 1.5GHz quad core powered Elife E6 will be priced at approx Rs. 22,999.

The E6 handset showed up on some online stores (pre-order) and is being officially launched today. You can watch the live event via the Gionee Facebook page. The single SIM handset does seem pricy but some other factors like the ultra slim body (7.7mm thickness), Super AMOLED screen IPS with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.54mm narrow edge and 128 grams weight might convince the consumers.

The Gionee Elife E6 sports a 5 inch IPS screen with full HD resolution. As mentioned it is powered by 1.5GHz MT6589T quad core processor with power VR SGX 544 MP GPU. This handset supports single SIM and comes with 2020 mAh non removable battery.

The ultra slim body is of dimensions 144x69x7.7mm. Android 4.2 runs on 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. In addition there is a 13MP rear AF camera with LED flash and a front 5MP camera. Its quad band and supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4 and GPS.
