The BlackBerry Z3 Jakarta could well be BlackBerry’s budget friendly smartphone. As per leaked info by N4BB this handset will be unveiled at the MWC 2014 and could be priced for $150 – approx Rs. 10,000.
Moto G has already created a big market for itself by simply going budget friendly. Probably the BB Z3 might follow the same trend. As per the leaked specifications the handset runs on BlackBerry 10 OS and comes powered by dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
The Z3 screen will be 5 inches with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). There will be 1.5GB on board RAM, micro SD card support and 8GB of internal storage space. In addition a 5MP camera (Auto focus) will be placed on the rear with LED flash support and front camera too.
Other common features are 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The non-removable battery is of a good 2650 mAh capacity. If the BlackBerry Z3 does makes its way into the Indian markets they will have to price it lower than the Moto G, probably the under 10K price tag could get them good business.
