Soon after the Micromax Funbook buzz, another company Telmoco is coming up with an android 4.0 powered tablet called the Attitude Daksha that will be priced at Rs. 5,399 with competitive specifications which makes it the cheapest tablet available in India, so far.
Today Micromax Funbook is a hot selling tablet in India but they will soon find a competitor the Daksha tab which will soon hit the markets in May. This is a low cost, high performance tablet with a better battery life.
Attitude Daksha Features
Most of the specifications are similar to the Micromax Funbook. This tablet is powered by ARM Cortex A8 processor running at 1.2 GHz which can be clocked further to 1.5 GHz this coupled with a dedicated GPU at 400 MHz.
The Daksha comes with 512 MB RAM (DDR3) and comes loaded with android 4.0 (ICS) OS. The display screen is 7 inches with capacitive technology and multi-touch support (5 point). Other features are microSD slot, HDMI port, micro USB port (OTG connector for USB dongle), 3.5 mm jack and power slot. There is a VGA front facing camera for video chats. I am not sure if the camera resolution is better or if there is another rear facing camera (stay tuned for updates).

The Daksha not only beats the Micromax in terms of price but also when it comes to battery performance. The Attitude Daksha comes with a 3800 mAh battery as compared with the Micromax Funbook that houses just 2800 mAh battery.
Telmoco claims that the tab can last for about 6 hours with Wi-Fi switched on, from a full battery charge. A battery life and a lower price tag may divert the consumers towards the Daksha tablets. So far the details look good on paper but let’s see how well the low cost tab perform in reality. I just hope the booking and delivery process are professionally managed.
So watch out for the Telmoco Daksha tablets coming soon in May. You can book the tablet online from telmoco.com from 15th May onwards. Pre-bookings have started and sadly its is the same using a simple online form. Once you submit you get the booking id. So far 58,000 plus users have submitted the form (You can know it from the Booking ID number). I am not sure how many submissions are genuine.
What happened to the launch? It's end of may & no update!
No updates yet, still pre-booking option shown on their site.

Dear gogi
I want that you test attitude daksha 7 tablet and then give us full review with picture.
Still xtab A10 is the best!
Hi dnyandev! Do you have Xtab A10? If yes, tell me your experience with it. How much battery life you are getting etc.
Please provide the info that Daksha have calling features or not?
Amit,
Daksha tablet cannot be used for calling / receiving calls. It does support compatible 3G dongle. There is not built in SIM slot, its difficult to get a tab with phone functions for such a low price.
Hi Gogi,
Nice tab… and making confuse.
Which one is best from your perspective Xtab A10 or this Daksha ? More or less both are same config and same price..
Also pls specify the internal memory size..
Both have 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. Xtab is available in 4 GB and 8 GB versions. For now the xtab looks good. The Daksha specifications are not confirmed yet. I mean not sure if it has 2 camera. But what I know for now is that its similar to Xtab.
Thanks Gogi.. 🙂
Do u have any idea of supporting Tata Photon+ (Model: EC1260) ??
Nice tablet, full packed feature what others offered in bit high range, low price-here price it shows attitude.Interesting to see how will it perform out of the box.
