Asus silently launched the ZenWatch 2 Smartwatch in India. This Android Wear powered watch is listed and available on Flipkart for ₹11,999 with rubber strap and for ₹14,999 with leather Straps. The Asus Smartwatch watch is dust and water resistant (IP67 certified).

Asus ZenWatch 2 with the rubber strap comes with a slightly bigger AMOLED screen of 1.63 inches supporting 320 x 320 pixels resolution. The one with the leather strap sports a 1.45 inch AMOLED screen with 280 x 280 pixels resolution. These 2.5D touch screen are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

ZenWatch 2 is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It is running Android Wear OS which is compatible with Android as well as iOS devices. There is 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage.

Additional features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, microphone, gyro, accelerometer and pedometer. The rubber strap watch houses a 300 mAh battery and the one with leather strap is with a 400 mAh battery. This watch can be used for phone/message/social notifications and for tracking your physical activities.

Asus ZenWatch 2 is now available on Flipkart starting from ₹11,999.

  1. Will I don’t find much use of smartwatches as of now as they come with just a day of battery life. Arre hum smartphones ki battery life se pehle hi pareshaan hain jo har roz charge karni padti hai aur abb ye smartwatches……Deva re Deva itni tension nahi jhel sakte re. I think smartwatches r still very immature and need evolution in terms of SOC, Software and specially battery life. Smartwatches should come with a battery life of minimum a month or to be precise at least 28 days or 4 weeks.

    1. Yes agree battery life is the major concern, need at least a week minimum of backup. Cause many actually stop using smartwatches after few weeks specially when it has to be charged each and every day.
