At the launch event in New Delhi (Zen Festival), Asus also launched the Zenfone 2 Laser that as the name suggest comes with laser focus mode that can focus objects in 0.3 seconds. The Zenfone 2 laser will be available (different models with different specifications) starting from ₹9,999.

This handset comes with optional 5.5 inch (ZE550KL) / 6 inch (ZE601KL) screen with corning gorilla glass 4 protection, with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. It is powered by 64 bit qualcomm snapdragon processor. Handset supports 4G and sports a 13MP pixel master laser focus smartphone with almost instant focus as fast as 0.3 seconds. There is dual tone LED flash for the rear camera. Front camera is a 5MP.

Key features are Lollipop, 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Laser gets power from a 2400 / 3000 mAh battery(depending on model). Price is ₹9,999 with 2GB RAM (using snapdragon MSM8916), ₹13,999 with 3GB RAM (powered by Snapdragon MSM8939) and other Laser starting from ₹17,999.
