Apple has just announced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 sports a 4.7 inch screen whereas the iPhone 6 Plus is with 5.5 inch screen. The 6 supports 1334 x 750 pixels resolution and the 6 Plus supports FHD i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels.

When it comes slimness the iPhone 6 is 6.9 mm thick and then 6 Plus is 7.1 mm thick – they are the slimmest iPhones for now. Both these handsets support Landscape view, you can use the handset in portrait mode or landscape mode the screen will adapt automatically.

The new iPhones are powered by A8 chipset with 25% faster CPU performance and 50% more when it comes to Graphics. The 6 Plus hardware is powerful enough to play high end games in higher resolution.

There is Gyro, magnetic, accelerometer, light and proximity sensors. iPhone 6 supports 4G LTE (supports more LTE bands as compared with any other smartphones). Voice over LTE and Wi-Fi calling is supported. The Wi-Fi 802.11 ac is 3 times faster than as compared to the iPhone 5s.

The iPhone 6 comes packed with 8MP iSight camera on the rear with focus pixels technology. With Focus Pixels the camera can focus sharper and faster. The camera quality is amazing as good as using a DSLR. Rear camera can shoot slow motion videos at 240fps.

Like its predecessors the iPhone 6 will also include an improved finger print sensor.

The iPhone 6 with iOS 8  16GB is priced at $199, 64GB at $299 and 128GB for $399 [ with contract ]. The Apple iPhone 6 Plus 16GB is priced at $299, 64GB at $399 and 128GB for $499 [ with contract ]. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be available from 19th September in selected countries (India not Included).

Apple introduced Apple Pay, that will be available in U.S only (in October) for now. It is a secure way of making payments without your credit card. One touch, no card number needed, no need to type address / card info. No data is stores on Apple servers and even the merchant have no clue about your card info.
