Alcatel announced three new handsets at the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) all belonging to the ONE Touch family called, the ONE Touch Idol, ONE Touch Idol Ultra and ONE Touch Scribe HD. Of these three handsets, Idol and Idol Ultra are powered by dual core processor whereas the Scribe HD is powered by the latest quad core chipset from Mediatek.

The ONE Touch Idol Ultra and ONE Touch Idol sports a 4.7 inch screen whereas the ONE Touch Scribe HD comes with a 5 inch screen. Not much of the details were revealed but here is what we know.

One Touch Idol
This handset will be powered by dual core processor with a 4.7 inch IPS screen sailing on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean OS). The Idol is light weight at 110 grams. The handset comes with a front 2MP camera and a rear 8MP camera.

One Touch Idol Ultra
This one again comes powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz with a 4.7 inch HD AMOLED display running Jelly Bean OS. As the name suggests it is ultra thin at 6.45mm, cool. The handset also comes with 8MP rear camera capable of capturing full HD videos.

One Touch Scribe HD
The Alcatel Scribe HD sports a 5 inch IPS touchscreen display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It comes with 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage and 8MP camera with 720p recording capabilities. This handset will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor (MediaTek MT6589). A 2500 mAh battery will power the handset and you can also buy an optional capacitive stylus.

Alcatel ONE Touch Scribe HD

The Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD is expected to be priced at around Rs. 20,000. Stay tuned for more.
