Imagine looking at your photos and videos in 3D without wearing special glasses. That is one of the biggest features of the new Acer Aspire G 3D 16, which Acer has introduced at IFA 2026.
Along with the new laptop, Acer has also refreshed its Aspire S 27 and Aspire S 24 all-in-one desktops.
The Aspire G 3D 16 uses naked-eye 3D technology, which means users can experience a 3D effect directly on the display without needing 3D glasses. The laptop uses dual eye-tracking cameras to make this possible.
This makes it quite different from older 3D laptops that required dedicated glasses.

What Makes the Acer Aspire G 3D 16 Different
The 16-inch Aspire G 3D 16 (model AG3D16-81M) is designed mainly for gamers and creators looking for powerful hardware along with an immersive display.
It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor.
According to Acer, the processor can deliver up to 126 overall TOPS and comes with AMD Radeon 8060S integrated graphics.
TOPS stands for trillion operations per second and is commonly used to show how much AI processing performance a chip can provide.
More AI processing power can help with tasks such as image enhancement, AI-based features and background noise reduction during video calls.
One of the most interesting features is the dual eye-tracking camera system.
It allows the laptop to convert regular 2D photos and videos into 3D visuals in real time. Acer provides its SpatialLabs 3D Hub software for this feature.
Supported games can also take advantage of the 3D technology, giving users better separation between foreground objects, backgrounds and visual effects.
The laptop comes with a 16-inch IPS display with a WQXGA+ resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels.
When using 3D mode, the resolution changes to 1920 x 2400 pixels.
The panel supports 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The taller display can also provide more working space for editing and other creative tasks.

The 99.9Wh battery is paired with a 230W power adapter. Acer is also offering an optional fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
For gaming, the laptop gets an RGB backlit keyboard with red WASD keys.
It supports up to 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and two USB4 Type-C ports. Everything is packed inside a meteorite grey metal body.
Acer has not announced the India price or availability of the Aspire G 3D 16 yet.

Aspire S 27 and Aspire S 24: Refreshed Family AIOs
While the Aspire G 3D 16 is focused more on gaming and creative work, the Aspire S 27 and Aspire S 24 are designed as all-in-one computers for home and family use.
Both models continue with the clean and minimal white design seen on earlier Aspire S systems.
The new models can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, providing better performance for everyday work and multitasking.
Another useful addition is an optional touchscreen with stylus support on both models.
This makes the new Aspire S desktops more useful for drawing, taking notes and other touchscreen-based tasks.
The larger Aspire S 27 comes with two display choices. Buyers can select a QHD 2560 x 1440 display with a 120Hz refresh rate or an FHD 1920 x 1080 display running at 144Hz.
The smaller Aspire S 24 gets a 23.8-inch FHD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Both desktops offer a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, with slim bezels helping them maintain a clean look on a desk.

Both models support up to 16GB LPDDR5 memory and up to 1TB M.2 SSD storage.
Acer has also included an FHD webcam with a privacy shutter on both AIOs.
Wireless connectivity includes Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The systems also have one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and an HDMI port for connecting additional devices or external displays.
The Aspire S series is expected to become available in EMEA during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Acer has not announced an India launch date yet.
If these models eventually arrive in India, they could become an interesting option for buyers looking for a clean all-in-one desktop for home, study or office use.

Why This Launch Matters for Indian Buyers
Glasses-free 3D laptops are still quite rare, especially in India.
Acer has already experimented with this technology through its SpatialLabs products, but bringing it to the Aspire G series could make the technology more interesting for regular gamers, students and content creators.
