The Samsung Wave Y S5380 is not to be confused with the Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 handset. The S5360 is an android phone whereas the S5380 runs on Bada 2.0 OS. The wave Y is priced under Rs. 8,000 and comes with some decent features.
The Wave Y S5380 comes with a powerful processor clocked at 832 MHz. This handset has some decent features buy it only if you have no problems using the Bada 2.0 OS. Moreover there is hardly any price difference between the S5380 and the android powered S5360.

Memory and Dimensions: The Wave Y comes with 150 MB internal memory with microSD card support up to 32 GB. The handset is light weight at just over 100 grams and thickness is 12.3 mm.
Camera and multimedia: This Samsung handset comes with a single rear facing 2 MP camera with video recording capabilities at 30fps. Other features are image editor and 1.4 x digital zoom. Media player supports MP3, MP4 and other commonly used audio and video formats. FM radio comes built in for live music on the go along with audio jack (3.5 mm).

Arpan, cost wise they are almost similar but go for the Galaxy Y it is android phone and wave Y is Bada OS. Also there are news that Samsung will not be developing the Bada OS further (Shutting down). So it makes sense to go for android.
does it have seconadry camera for video calling???
