After the success of the Micromax A50 Ninja, Micromax is coming up with yet another android powered smartphone the Micromax A52 with features similar to the A50 but with a powerful processors @ 1 GHz.
This phone supports dual SIM with dual standby and comes with a 1 GHz processor. It’s loaded with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and is 3G enabled. The A52 weighs 112 grams and is 13.2 mm thin. This handset specification is almost identical to A50, but with few minor changes.
The full touchscreen display with capacitive technology is 3.2 inches with the same supported resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This one comes with 160 MB internal memory and microSD card supported of up to 32 GB.
The A52 comes with G-Sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, 3.5 mm jack and GPS. There is a 2 MP camera and built in FM radio. The media player can play variety of formats. Performance wise it will be better than Ninja (650 MHz vs 1 Ghz), much faster but I don’t think there will be any quality improvement with the 2 MP camera.
When compared with A50, the A52 comes with a 1280 mAh battery, 80 mAh higher than the A50. The talktime is up to 5 hours and the standby time is around a week.
This handset too comes with Aisha feature and the design is completely different. This handset will definitely be better than the Ninja because of a powerful processor, but the screen resolution is the same.
The Micromax A52 is priced at Rs. 5,999 which is really cool considering a powerful processor, if you are going in for the A52 do check out the Karbonn A7 which is just hundred rupees more and with better, bigger screen.

Could be memory or compatibility issue. But any phone priced less than 8K will hardly run high end games.

open new page..() when try to go there.. make browser crash and Error message pops up

micromax is not able to resolve this
they replaced PCB twice and now they saying that:
" IT IS IN EVERY A52 " AND " IT IS NOT A PROBLEM "
i sad that is a software problem "ACTUALLY they are not able to do software update "

Raja, did you try any alternate browser? Search for on Google play and see if they also have the same problem?
of course other Browser will run, without any issue problem is in the stock browser, but my point is.
Is This Problem comes under warranty issue? if yes and micromax is not able to resolve this so can I go to consumer court for this?
Raja, not sure about this, but yes it is a stock browser bug, and going through the consumer court is just too hectic, I have been through.

danish, yuvi, parsha, jai – for all you I will say that buy A52. I am using it. I got it from http://www.shopclues.com. I installed and tested games like temple run, raging thunder 2, cricket t20, angry bird all versions, chess,drift racing.
All are running smooth no lag at all it has 256 mb ram with 128 mb reserved and locked. You will only get 128 mb for customization. Reserved memory will be used during any kind of applications you are running + your coustom free ram, with nice AMR v7 1ghz processor, 262k colour resolution. Inbuilt 160mb approx.
Touchscreen is very nice highly sensitive too wifi, 3g, edge, wifi hotspot, dual sim, gps, maps, AISHA every thing you will get. For supporting hd and multi typs vdios like mkv, flv, mpeg, avi,etc you have to install more audio and video players available free on google market market.
I installed apps like dictionary, document reader(pdf,ms office), auto cad,Zip, file manager, etc. and last i will say don't over load with apps and games, installed it on memory card, clean and boost ram, rom regularly for faster use.
Can this phone run temple run without hanging? and does it give the feel of an android as on samsung and other brands give?

A52 and A50, I am confused. There are problems on a50 i.e. Flash didn't work, touch was not working while charging, uc browser does not work. So will the a52 also have these problems.
Not sure for now, but Micromax may as well fix some of the issues on the A52 as faced on A50.

Jai, no will not be doing the review as its similar to A50, just design is different and this one is with 1 GHz power. Both are good, it depends on your budget.
A52 = A50 + 1 GHz processor + design change.

It all about speed. A higher GHz processor will perform the same task faster than the one with a lower cpu power.
1 Ghz processors are found in high range phones availability of this feature in such cheap cost will this reduce other quality features in this product?
Well if you look it in the other way 1 GHz is pretty outdated, today high end phones come with either dual core or quad-core.

hi gogi, another update micromax has announced the launch of its latest Android smartphone A45 Punk for Music lovers. Priced at INR 5,499, it is now available in the market.
Although this new influx of latest gadgets is great, dont you think its the case of domestic companies dumping Chinese re-brands into India, coz most of the phones from micromax, spice and karbonn are re-branded chinese phones, what is your take on it?
Re-branding is nothing new, it been happening for long. The products are not that bad, and are very cheap. With time and technology the products are getting better. Take the example of the touchscreen you will find it is a as good as on the high end phones. You might have heard of Mali 400 GPU, the word often used with tablets, even Samsung uses that.

Well technology is getting cheaper and the bars have just risen, it is good news for users who use all of the features (GPS, 3D, gaming). With A52 I guess all news phone will come with a minimum 1 GHz processor.
