Xiaomi Mi Note, Note Pro announced thinner, lighter and bigger starting from $370

Xiaomi has announced the Mi Note which is light, bigger and thinner. The next note from Xiaomi is here. It sports a 5.7 inch screen weighs about 161 grams and comes with a 3000 mAh battery.  They also announced the Note pro.

The Mi Note is using 3000 mAh Li-Po battery (Sony / LG make). It is bigger than iPhone plus and thickness is 6.95mm. When compared with the iPhone 6 Plus the Mi Note is 11 grams lighter and about 0.15mm thinner.

This handset will run on MiUi 6.The screen is scratch / shatter resistant  using 2.5D + 3D curved gorilla glass 3. The 5.7 inch (Sharp / JDI) screen is with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution – 386 ppi. The bezel is just 0.3mm thin. The Mi Note is using adaptive dynamic lighting technology that reduces eye fatigue.

There is a 13Mp AF camera using the Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor – f/2.0 aperture with OIS (optical image stabilization). There is a front camera of 4MP resolution ( large 2-micron pixels). Rear camera comes with LED flash support.

The Mi Note is dual SIM handset powered by quad core qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. It supports dual 4G with dual standby mode. There is a nano SIM and micro SIM (single tray). The handset comes loaded with 3GB RAM. The handset also comes packed with Hi-Fi audio system for 192KHz (24 Bit) loss-less playback.

Mi Note price : $370 (approx Rs. 23K) for 16GB model and $451 (approx Rs. 28K) for 64GB model.

This handset is powered by 64 bit qualcomm snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It sports a 5.7 inch 2K screen i.e. 2560 x 1440 pixels, comes with 4GB RAM (LPDDR4) and 64GB storage (eMMC 5.0 Flash). It supports 4G. The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is priced at ¥3299 (approx Rs.32K).

Xiaomi also announced the ¥499 (approx Rs. 4,900) Mi- Headphones that complements well with the Mi Note. Its an over the ear headphone that completely covers the ear. It comes with 50mm super size beryllium diaphragm speakers, semi open acoustics for breathable sound.
