Xiaomi and Black Shark have launched the Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Phone. This phone was launched in China and it may sound weird but it does come with liquid cooling technology the kind used in gaming laptops  – to cool the hardware.

The Xiaomi Black Shark is for heavy extreme gaming users. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor that is well known and the one touch SHARK Key will enhance gaming experience. The liquid cooling helps bring the core temperature down up to 8 degrees, which means with this handset you will be able to play for a much, much longer period of time.

Xiaomi Black Shark features and specifications

This is a dual SIM handset, there are 2x nano SIM slot, no micro SD support. Inside the hood it is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa core processor clocked at 2.8GHz with Adreno 630 GPU. Screen is 5.99 inches with 2160 x 1080 pixels i.e. Full HD+ an 18:9 aspect ratio screen.

Xiaomi Black Shark comes packed with 6GB RAM / 64GB ROM and another variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There is a 20MP camera on the front and the rear camera is 12MP + 20MP (dual cameras) with f/1.75 aperture and dual tone LED flash support.

Other features are finger print sensor, SHARK Dedicated Key for high performance mode, dual speakers, 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5, dual band Wi-Fi, USB Type C port, Hi-Fi Audio and the logo on the back glows.

The gamepad (another accessory) can be connected when need be, it  makes use of Bluetooth 4.0 to connect, packed with 150 mAh battery and offers up to 30 hours battery life on single charge.

Xiaomi Black Shark comes with 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Coming to the price in China the 6GB/64GB version is priced at RMB 2999 (approx Rs. 31K)  and the 8GB/128GB price in China is RMB 3499 (approx Rs. 36K).

Gamepad is priced at RMB 179 (approx Rs. 1,860).  This product will go on sale in China from 20th April.
