Videocon had already started manufacturing mobiles in India. The Videocon Z55 Dash is a new handset that is designed in India and being assembled at a local facility in India. The Z55 Dash is using an octa core processor and priced at ₹6,490.
The Videocon Z55 Dash is powered by Mediatek 1.4GHz Octa core processor (cortex A7) 32-bit. This is a dual SIM handset that sport a 5 inch IPS screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen comes with dragon trail X protection and anti fingerprint coating. Android KitKat 4.4.2 runs out of the box with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card slot to add up to 32GB external cards.
The Z55 Dash includes an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with flash and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. This dual SIM handset gets power from a 2200 mAh battery.
The Videocon Z55 Dash will be available exclusively on Flipkart in White + Chrome and Black + Gold colour options for ₹6,490.
With Airtel. vodaphone and reliance gio , going to provide 4g connectivity at 3g rates, 3 g technology / phones would soon be redundant .Hence,It is high time that all phones above Rs 6000/- should have 4g connectivity
