UMI Fair quad core with Finger Print scanner launched for $99

UMI has launched an affordable 64 Bit quad core powered smartphone called the UMI Fair for just $99. This handset is using MediaTek chipset, sports a 5 inch screen and comes with finger print scanner too.

The UMI Fair as mentioned houses the MediaTek MT6735 quad core 64 bit processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU. Android Lollipop 5.1 runs the show with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card slot too, to add external storage. The inner frame is made of stainless steel, weight with battery is 120 grams and thickness is 8.4mm.

This is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. Fair sports a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 13MP AF camera on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Finger Print scanner (on the back) and Bluetooth 4.0.

    Sorry for previous comment on another section…now plz tell me that umiindia.com showing only two handset super and max..they are charging pre registration fees…it is fake or real…plz check it and reply..there is no update abt umi e plus…

      Yes thanks, I would avoid that site UMIIndia.com not sure if it is real, better buy from Chinese online stores – pandawill.com, banggood.com, gearbest.com etc.

        No brother..I want quality and india can give this type of phone upto 2020(by importing cpu,gpu,display etc from chines and other country)..so i wiil definitely buy if possible at any cost when launched from china..(foxxcon)..i am proud to be an Indian but i am not fool…

    My suggestion: Remove the gimmick of fingerprints scanner,and add another 1gb ram and some mah to the battery you have a killer device right there.

    This phone is supposed to be the Redmi 2 beater….but how well it competes is the moot question…though initial reports are very good..as reported on Gizchina review.

    considering screen size battery capacity is disappointing . Even on mild use it will not last more than 4 hours

    Friends, look out xiaomi redmi 2 prime… Just rs.7k with amazing Qualcomm 410 CPU, 16GB, 2gb ram, both sim support 4g. Can any phone beat this ?
