Spice has launched the Stellar Mi-445 that uses a quad core processor and supports Indian regional languages. The handset will be competing with unite 2 from Micromax that also supports multiple Indian languages.

The Spice Stellar Mi-445 MRP is Rs. 6,249 but in local stores and online you could get it for as low as Rs. 5,200. Though the Mi-445 is cheaper than the Unite 2 but when it comes to specifications the Unit 2 is much better.

The Mi-445 sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels). It runs on Android 4.3 OS and supports Tamil, Hindi, Bangla, Telugu, Gujarati and Marathi languages. This dual SIM handset houses a 1.2GHz quad core processor – it is using the qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The Mi-445 also comes with average camera of 3.2MP resolution probably fixed focus, don’t expect too much from it. Another camera is on the front of 1.3MP resolution. Key features are 3G, 2G (GPRS/EDGE), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The battery is 1500 mAh that might give an average usage time on a single charge. Quad core powered Stellar Mi-445 will be available soon for Rs. 5,300.
