Sharp Alice (SH0037D) phone in available in India and features a compact full touch design with a price tag of Rs. 8500. The handset comes in two colours Black and Red with front stereo speaker, FM recording and is pre-installed with most popular mobile browser, the Opera Mini.

The main attraction of Sharp Alice is 2.8 inch WQVGA LCD(400×240) Touch Panel and the 3 megapixel auto focus camera (image quality 2048×1536 pixels). The phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE(850/900/1800/1900).

The phone is loaded with most of the features that younger generation would want which includes the FM radio and Social Networking. The main screen is loaded with useful icons that most users would want for example Twitter, Orkut, Facebook, Gmail with Gtalk and Yahoo.

The FM radio comes with a new feature that allows the user to schedule recording apart from normal recording.  The Alice phone comes with 64MB SDRAM and 128MB NAND Flash. The microSD slot also comes included, so users can always attached extra storage on to this phone.

Other exciting feature is a Bluetooth 2.1, G sensor and Micro USB Port. Video and music player are supported.

Who should buy this phone?
For a price of Rs. 8500 there are many options available in the market and you may find a better deal than the Sharp Alice.  The Alice operating system is proprietary and before buying check out if third party applications are supported.

Sharp Alice SH0037D plus point is the touch screen, 3 MP camera, G sensor, EDGE/GPRS connectivity and Social networking support.

So if you are looking for all of the above go for the Sharp Alice, but I would prefer you check out with other models compare and go for the best deal.
