Samsung has silently launched the Galaxy S Duos 3 that is currently available in some retail stores for Rs. 7,999. This is a dual core powered handset with 3G support and running Android with Touch Wiz UI supporting 14 Indian regional languages.

The handset runs KitKat out of the box (Android 4.4.2) with (probably) 512MB RAM and 4 gigs of internal storage plus micro SD card support. There is a VGA camera on the front and 5MP camera on the rear with LED support.

Screen is 4 inches (TFT display) with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. Main features are 3G (HSPA+), 2G (EDGE/ GPRS), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS. This 1.0 GHz dual core powered handset houses a 1500 mAh battery.

For this price and considering the specifications it is still pricy but there are users who prefer the Samsung brand and the brand is doing well in retail stores. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 is priced at Rs. 7,999 coming soon, but you might find it in some retail stores.
