Even big brands like Samsung have now started using online stores as a launch Medium for their premium handsets. Samsung Galaxy K Zoom smartphone with 20.7 MP zoom camera will be available soon on Amazon.in. The price details are not yet revealed.

The Galaxy K Zoom is successor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. The K Zoom houses a Hexa core processor (Exynos 5260) a combination of Quad core (cortex A7) 1.3GHz and dual core (cortex A15) 1.7Ghz CPU is coupled with Mali T624 GPU.

This smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 out of the box with 2GB on-board RAM and 8GB storage. The good part is that micro SD of up to 64GB is supported and is very much needed. This handset comes with a single Micro SIM slot and sports a 4.79 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Screen is Super AMOLED with corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The main feature is the 20.7MP camera with 10x zoom. Now this is not a digital zoom but optical zoom (24 – 240mm) wherein the Lens will move back and forth. There is Xenon and LED flash plus image stabilization too. A secondary camera is also included with a 2MP resolution. You can shoot videos in 1080p at 60 fps.

Samsung Galaxy K Zoom hexa core smartphone with 20.7MP with 10x zoom

The Galaxy K Zoom weight is 200 grams and is 16.6mm thick (not an issue as it has to accommodate the lens). Key features are 3G (42Mbps), 2G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS. The Li-ion battery of 2430 mAh capacity gives talk time of up to 14 hours on 3G networks.

Samsung Galaxy K Zoom will be sold exclusively via Amazon.in.
