Samsung Galaxy Core 2 gets a good price cut, now at Rs. 8007

The quad core powered Samsung Galaxy Core 2, a few days back was selling for approx Rs. 12,000. But as of now Samsung has reduced it’s  price tag for under Rs. 9,000. Some stores are still selling it for over Rs. 10,000 but you can get it for a good price of Rs. 8,007 from the Samsung official web store.

The Galaxy Core 2 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor, runs Android 4.4.2 out of the box. It is a dual SIM handset that sports a 4.5 inch TFT screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. There is 4GB internal storage and 768MB RAM. The micro SD card slot can support up to 64GB external cards.

A 5MP auto focus camera is packed on the rear with LED flash support and a VGA camera is present on the front. Core 2 weight is 138 grams and is 9.8mm thick. Main features are 2G, 3G (21Mbps), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS support.

The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 with a 2000 mAh battery is now available for Rs. 8,007.

    People have rejected them thoroughly. All of their phones are laggy and it irritates people very much. They must reduce the prices further

    why should they sell grand 2 at 11000.it is their best selling mid range.They will not sell it below 16000.

      Since the day Samsung lunched corby i buy a no of phones of samsung worth 1lakh or more..ie corby..galaxy s ..galaxy s2 Etc
      Now i think enough is enough ..
      The story begins aftr buying note2 n repetdly visiting thr service centres..aftrwards i promised myself not to buy any samsung products..

    This is what healthy competition can do… 🙂 But good to see they are taking immediate steps !! I hope Note 4 neo will compete with Redmi note next version !! lol…. Samsung will loose it popularity very soon !! SHAME-SUNG

    samsung has now understood that their bad days have began. they were making 4-5k profit for such low end handset. samsung is going to fall like Nokia.

    Still a very large section of people don’t buy online. Redme, Zenphone, Android one are out of reach for them. Sammy and Micromax still rule there. And with this price cut, Sammy targeting offline buyers and will sell a good number of handsets.

    I think hard time for Samsung unless they offer great specification at less price

    With moto, Asus, xiomi mobile with good specification mobiles at less price

    768 mob ram is a big deal breaker …android one is far better with 6339
