The Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite first sale began today. Over 1 Million people had expressed their interest for the sale and the product got out of stock soon. Redmi Y1 is priced at Rs. 8,999 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and the 4GB/64GB will come of Rs. 10,999.

The Redmi Y1 Lite is priced at Rs. 6,999. These handsets were available on Mi.com and Amazon.com. On Mi.com it is already out of stock and on Amazon too it is out of stock but the wait-list process is going on.

Redmi y1 is using 3080 mAh battery and comes with a 16MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Screen is 5.5 inches with 720p resolution. There is finger print sensor and IR blaster too. You can buy this from Mi.com and Amazon.in.

    1. Sorry got delayed cause of launch of new handsets their review needed to be done first, and then I got the MIUI 9 updated on Note 3, so had to scrap the data and restart again.

  7. No COD Option for me. Didn’t buy even after adding to cart. Without extra benefits I generally avoid using cards.

    1. I would choose Honor 6x if I get it at the price of y1. And no, I don’t think Redmi series is crap.
