Panasonic launched a new handset in the P Series, presenting the Panasonic P9 a VoLTE enabled smartphone powered by MediaTek quad core processor. Panasonic P9 price in India is Rs. 6,290 and for this price it is not really a good handset.
Just because a handset is using a MediaTek processor does not mean that the handset is bad, just that MediaTek powered handsets should be priced right. But apart from that there are many other features that need to be set right.
Now if you look at the Panasonic P9 handset the biggest disappointing spec is the resolution. This handset comes with 5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, now this is 2017 even low budget priced smartphones under Rs. 5000 come with a 720p display.
P9 is dual SIM powered by MediaTek MT6737M quad core processor clocked at 1GHz with Mali T720 GPU. Android Nougat runs the show over a 5 inch screen with as mentioned FWVGA resolution – 854 x 480 pixels.
Rear camera is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture and front camera is a 5MP shooter. Handset weight is 144 grams and supports 4G with VoLTE, there is no finger print sensor. A 2210 mAh battery powers the Panasonic P9.
Panasonic smartphone department sucks…why even bother to launch these crap-phones…stop dumping the junk.
