OPPO Find X9 Ultra: The Hasselblad Camera Phone That Means Business
Let’s be direct. The Find X9 Ultra is not a camera phone in the marketing-brochure sense. It carries a complete five-lens system built around OPPO’s new-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System, and the spec sheet reads more like a professional camera than a smartphone.
At the heart of it sits a 200MP main camera (Sony LYT-901 with OIS), a 200MP 3x telephoto (OmniVision OV52A with OIS), and a 50MP 10x optical zoom telephoto lens with OPPO’s proprietary Quintuple Prism Periscope Structure. That last one is genuinely new. Light bounces five times inside the module, giving you a 230mm-equivalent focal length in a remarkably compact package. The total focal range runs from 14mm to 460mm. There is also a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP front camera.
The LUMO Image Engine handles the computational heavy lifting, and Hasselblad’s Master, Portrait, and XPAN modes give you shooting flexibility that most phone cameras simply do not offer.
For video, the Find X9 Ultra shoots 4K at 60fps, 120fps Dolby Vision HDR, and introduces 8K at 30fps on an OPPO flagship for the first time. Professional features like O-Log2, ACES, and 3D LUTs with real-time preview come built-in. If you shoot seriously, that matters.
The 6.82-inch 144Hz QHD+ ProXDR AMOLED display peaks at 3,600 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) runs the show under the hood. Battery is a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon cell with 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. It comes in Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange.
OPPO Find X9s: Slim, Light, and Still Genuinely Flagship
The Find X9s is a different kind of phone. At 7.99mm thin and 202 grams, it’s noticeably lighter and sleeker than the Ultra. And yet it doesn’t feel like a compromise in any area that actually matters.
The 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display has ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels on all sides, a 120Hz refresh rate, and the same 3,600 nits peak brightness. It looks sharp. ColorOS 16 and AI Features
Both phones run ColorOS 16, and OPPO has packed in a set of AI tools that actually do useful things.
AI Mind Pilot coordinates between Google Gemini, Perplexity, and OpenAI models to give more contextual answers. Think of it as an AI assistant that pulls from multiple sources rather than being locked to one. A dedicated Snap Key lets you capture and organise information quickly through AI Mind Space.
Traveling? AI Menu Translation decodes unfamiliar restaurant menus. Managing expenses? AI Bill Manager automatically sorts physical and digital receipts. Small things, but genuinely handy.
