A single human hair is about 80,000 nanometres wide. The chip inside the upcoming OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is built on a 2nm process, which means the tiny switches packed into it are thousands of times thinner than that hair.

That chip is the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, and OPPO India confirmed on 6 October 2026 that the Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones in the world to use it. The announcement came at the MediaTek Tech Day in Delhi.

OPPO also says the Find X10 Series, co-developed with Hasselblad, will reach Indian buyers in the coming weeks. If you have been tracking the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max launch date in India, this is the clearest signal yet that the wait is almost over.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Launch Date in India: What We Know

OPPO has not shared an exact date yet. The company only says the series arrives “in the coming weeks”, and it calls this the tenth generation of the Find lineup.

Industry chatter points to a late October or early November window, right in the middle of the festive buying season. Last year the Find X9 Series followed a similar path, landing in India in November after its China debut.

You can read how that launch played out in our coverage of the OPPO Find X9 series India launch.

The phone is already official in China, so the hardware story is no longer a mystery. You can keep an eye on the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max listing and pre-booking updates as the India date gets closer.

What Makes the Dimensity 9600 Pro Special

A smartphone chipset, also called a SoC (System on Chip), is the brain of the phone. It holds the CPU for general work, the GPU for graphics, the NPU for AI tasks and the ISP for the camera, all on one small piece of silicon.

The big shift here is the 2nm process node. A smaller node lets engineers fit more transistors in the same space while using less power. In simple words, the phone can be faster and cooler at the same time, and the battery lasts longer.

MediaTek says it is among the first companies to adopt this 2nm technology. Here is a quick look at the main Dimensity 9600 Pro specs shared in the official announcement.

CPU: The All Big Core Approach

Most phone chips mix a few powerful cores with several small “efficiency” cores. The Dimensity 9600 Pro skips the small ones entirely. It uses two C2-Ultra cores at up to 4.55GHz, three C2-Pro cores at 4.35GHz and three more C2-Pro cores at 3.1GHz.

Even with all big cores, MediaTek claims a 61% drop in multi-core power use compared to the previous generation. That is where the 2nm process earns its keep.

AI That Acts Before You Ask

The chip introduces the Dimensity Agentic AI Engine. “Agentic” AI means the assistant can take steps on its own, such as reading the context on your screen, guessing what you need next and coordinating actions across apps.

Two NPUs handle this work. An NPU (Neural Processing Unit) is a part of the chip built only for AI maths. The second-generation Super-Efficient NPU cuts always-on AI power use by 40%, so features that listen or watch in the background drain less battery.

The main NPU 1090 delivers 51% higher LLM prefill performance. Prefill is the moment an AI model reads your full question before replying, so faster prefill means shorter waits.

It also offers 55% better token generation per watt. A token is a small chunk of a word, and the AI writes its answers one token at a time. Support for models up to 30 billion parameters means fairly capable AI can run directly on the phone, without sending your data to the cloud.

Gaming on the G2-Ultra NX GPU

The new GPU promises up to 27% higher peak performance while using 24% less power. Ray tracing, a technique that simulates how real light bounces around a scene, gets 18% faster.

MediaTek says games can hit up to 185fps. Its Neural Graphics Architecture blends GPU and AI computing, and HyperEngine tunes gameplay to keep frame rates steady during long sessions.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Cameras: Three 200MP Sensors

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max cameras are the loudest part of this launch. Every rear camera uses a 200MP sensor, and all three carry Hasselblad tuning.

The main camera uses a large 1/1.3-inch sensor with a bright f/1.5 aperture and optical stabilisation. The ultra-wide also packs 200MP. The 70mm telephoto gives 3x optical zoom, adds stabilisation and can focus as close as 10cm for detailed macro shots.

The chip’s Imagiq 1290 ISP does the heavy lifting behind the scenes. An ISP (Image Signal Processor) turns raw sensor data into a finished photo, handling colour, noise and exposure in a fraction of a second.

It supports 17EV dynamic range, a measure of how much detail a camera keeps in both bright skies and dark shadows in one frame. Higher numbers mean fewer blown-out clouds and fewer crushed shadows.

Video creators get 4K at 240fps for ultra slow motion and 4K120 cinematic log. Log is a flat-looking video format that keeps extra colour data, giving editors more room to grade footage later.

OPPO has already been building its imaging stack through its LUMO engine, which we covered when the company announced its LUMO Lab for the Find X9 series.

Laminar Flow Engine: OPPO’s Own Smoothness Fix

Alongside the new chip, OPPO is debuting the Laminar Flow Engine, built jointly with MediaTek. It reworks how the phone draws content on screen and links that process closely with system scheduling.

The goal is a better balance between quick response and power drain. OPPO says it speeds up app launches and keeps scrolling steady in heavy moments, such as flicking through hundreds of photos in the gallery.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Specs at a Glance

These are the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max full specifications from the China launch. Indian variants could differ slightly, so treat this as a strong preview.

LTPO stands for Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide. It lets the screen drop its refresh rate when nothing is moving, which saves battery while reading or viewing a still photo.

The 8,000mAh battery stands out too. OPPO claims it will hold at least 80% of its original capacity after five years of use, which matters for anyone who keeps a phone for a long time.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Price in India: Expected Range

OPPO has not announced the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max price in India. In China, the phone starts at CNY 6,799 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and goes up to CNY 8,999 for the 16GB and 1TB model.

Indian pricing usually lands higher because of import duties and local positioning. Reports from industry insiders suggest a figure close to Rs 1,55,000. For context, the Find X9 Pro launched in India at Rs 1,09,999.

ModelPrice (China)Expected Price (India)
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max 12GB + 256GBCNY 6,799Around Rs 1,55,000 (tipped)

That is a big jump, and it puts the phone in direct competition with top flagships like the latest Pixel range. Google has taken a very different pricing route this year, as explained in our breakdown of the Pixel 11 price in India.

Find X10 Pro Max vs Find X9 Pro

Many buyers will weigh last year’s flagship against the new one, especially with festive discounts on older models. Here is how the two line up.

Accessories Worth Planning For

A phone with an 8,000mAh battery and 80W charging needs the right charger to hit its top speeds. Third-party bricks often fall back to slower standards.

The Bigger Picture

OPPO and MediaTek are pitching the Find X10 Pro Max as a phone that thinks ahead. The 2nm chip handles the speed, the dual NPU handles the AI, and three 200MP cameras handle the photos.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, described the Find X10 Series as one of the most anticipated flagship launches in India. MediaTek’s Anuj Sidharth added that the chip gives partners a platform ready for the growing demand for on-device AI.

The final pieces still missing are the India date and price. Once OPPO confirms them, the Find X10 Pro Max will tell us whether a Rs 1.5 lakh Android flagship built around MediaTek silicon can win over Indian buyers who usually reach for Samsung or Apple at this price.
