  1. I have bought this phone today… Just setting up my hands on it… Not have observed any issue yet.. Camera quality is good.. Sound is loud and clear.. I am not using Jio sum so not sure whether both can work at a time.. There are 3 slots.

    1. Please share your experience after using it for 3-4 days as I m interested to buy it if camera is better than Honor 7x. Gogi ji and friends, please throw some light on MediaTek Helio P23 chipset. Is it at par with SD 625? And Is this chipset capable of dual sim active VOLTE ? I m not heavy gammer and like 18:9 aspect ratio display phone… Other specs are also looking good…Please advise…

      1. Day 1 use- Observation:

Not any difference observed in LOOKS between Oppo 5 and 5 Youth.
        No led notification.
Finger Print Sensor is very good , quick & responsive
Color reproduction is also pretty good.
Camera quality is above average. Photo in day light quite good. In dark have seen some noise. But seems better than Honor 7x as per images I have seen in review.
If you have experienced ZenUI then Oppo’s ColorUI you feel quite backward.
Ringer volume is moderate. Speaker quality is also above average. Voice during call is loud and clear.
Earphone is below average. You can use other earphone.
Good thing is that, not much bloatware or pre installed apps like MMX and other phones.
I’m not playing an game so not able to give any feedback in this area.
Battery life is also good and easily 1.5 day you can use if you are normal user like Whatsapp, mail, site surfing etc.
Will post further, if found something.

        1. After 2 days of use:

Battery life is pretty good. Almost 1.5 days for normal use. Took nearly 2+ hrs. for full charge. No fast charging.
Selfie camera is extremely well. I guess this is the usp of this phone.
Quite sleek design and you don’t feel like 6 inch phone. No metal body but looks premium.
Finger print sensor and face detection works well.
You can relate ColorOS – UI with ios. Notification and other interface is similar like ios.
As mentioned earlier, not able to give feedback for gaming.
Split screen works well. Clone apps feature embedded.
Display is too good. You can see vibrant color and richness in font while reading. Also you can see display din direct sunlight at certain extent.
Camera quality is definitely far better than Honor 7x.

Overall good buy and satisfy with this phone.

  3. Gogi, the real war has started.
Xiaomi has to be cautious in India, as there is no dual active LTE supported chip from SD!!!
Need to see how this chip performs along with dual active 4g?
