OnePlus already started teasing about the next OnePlus handset called the OnePlus 6. This handset also got certification recently, some of its features have also been revealed. OnePlus 6 will be running Android Oreo out of the box.

What we know so far is that the OnePlus 6 handset will sport a 6.2 inch screen with notch style display, its 19:9 aspect ratio screen, plus Gorilla Glass protected. Inside the hood it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa core processor.

We can expect dual cameras on the back, a finger print sensor and as far as the back panel is concerned it could be a different material.  There is no word about when the handset will be launched in India.

OnePlus 6 certification

But this could happen soon within few months. The price of OnePlus 6 could be somewhere near to what the OnePlus 5T was selling at, will need to wait for the official word. For now if you are planning to buy a OnePlus handset better wait.

  5. The notch may prove a useful strategy for OP. OP currently launch 2 flagships a year. But usually people buy just one. For example very few people who bought the OP5 last year would have upgraded to OP5t. But this year those who buy the OP6 however reluctantly simply because it will be the fastest device out there will be forced to upgrade to a notchless OP6t under doctor’s orders because of all the projectile vomiting induced by the notch.

So by introducing a worthless feature that nobody wanted in the OP6 and then taking it away in the OP6t, OP end up increasing their sales! That’s pure genius and pure evil! Sensible people will wait for the OP6t but a lot of people will end up falling for this trick!
