The Nokia G21 comes powered by Unison T606 Octa Core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, a 50MP triple camera setup and 5050 mAh battery all this for Rs. 12,999. Though there are better options available is the G21 worth it?

Nokia G21 is for users who are not into gaming, but looking for a good lag free experience, regular software updates, decent camera and good battery life. As for the camera quality it is average but rest of the features are pretty good.

A 6.5 inch screen with 90Hz will give an overall smooth experience, it is with HD+ resolution though, it is good enough for most users – some would complain. 4GB + 64GB RAM and ROM is good enough with a dedicated micro SD card slot that can hold 512GB or external storage.

It is running pure stock android 11 out of the box and it will get 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. So if you are a person wanting to use the handset for a longer period of time, this is good to go with.

5050 mAh battery will give up to 2 to 3 days of battery life, again depends on your usage, for my type of usage I usually get one and a half to 2 days of battery life. Inside the box 10W charger is included however the smartphone does support 18W fast charging.  In case you have a fast charger you can use that.

Here are the Nokia G21 specs

  • 6.5” (16.51 cm) display with 90Hz refresh rate
  • 50MP triple AI rear camera with powerful AI imaging modes and OZO spatial Audio
  • 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 512GB
  • Up to 3-days battery life with a 5050 mAh battery
  • Pure Android 11 OS with 2 years of Android OS upgrades & 3 years of monthly security updates
  • Powered by the Unisoc T606 processor
  • Side Finger Print and Face Unlock

My take on the G21

A good handset, average camera, performance is smooth, good battery life and build and finishing is Nokia standard pretty good, I think the price is on the higher side compared to other smartphones available in the market but if you are a Nokia fan you can go ahead with this G21 handset.
