Another dual core, dual SIM handset from the Canvas fun series, the Micromax A63 now shows up on the Micromax website. This is a MTK6572 dual core handset clocked at 1.3GHz. The price is not yet disclosed but could be around Rs. 6,000.

It’s a smartphone with a 4 inch screen running Android jelly bean 4.2.2. The screen resolution is 800×480 pixels. There 4GB onboard internal storage and 512MB RAM. Of the 4GB storage 1GB is assigned for apps and another 1GB as phone storage. External SD card of up to 32GB is supported.

There is a 2MP rear camera with flash support and a VGA camera on the front. HD video recording is supported. The Micromax A63 supports 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and GPS. There is 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB port.

A 1500 mAh battery gives a talktime of up to 4 hours and standby time of up to 135 hours. The handset will soon hit the stores. No word about the price tag.

Micromax A63 canvas fun

Micromax had recently launched the Micromax A74 canvas fun just a few days back and now this one. There is not much of a hardware difference between these models. It looks really weird as to why Micromax is launching so many canvas fun models with minimal differences.
