The Micromax A110 also called Superfone Canvas 2 is now listed on Saholic for just Rs, 10,499. Now this price difference between A110 and A100 (Rs. 9699) is just Rs. 800.

Those who recently got the Micromax A100 would really be disappointed because by just paying Rs. 800 they could have got a better handset. We will have to wait and see if the price tag is the same on other online websites too, just for a confirmation. Moreover the item listed is out of stock.

No doubt the price does look attractive and that too for a dual core processor and an 8MP camera. The Micromax A110 runs on the ICS (Android 4.0 OS) with a 5 inch capacitive TFT LCD screen similar to its predecessor the A100.

The screen resolution is 800×480 pixels. The handset supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and micro USB. It’s the same A100 but with slight modification. The camera is upgraded to an 8 megapixel resolution (needs confirmation as on the same page it’s mentioned as 5MP) with LED flash. There is a front camera too. Native Voice calling is not yet confirmed.

Micromax A110 8MP or 5MP as listed on Saholic

The memory I believe will be 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage and of course with micro SD slot. The battery capacity is the same at 2000 mAh with about 5 hours of talktime and 7 days standby time.

The Micromax A110 runs on a dual core processor, I am not sure if it will be the same as on the Karbonn A21. The processor is clocked at 1 GHz. For a price of Rs. 10,499 this definitely looks worthy. What you say?
