LG Electronics revealed the LG G Pro 2 in Korea yesterday. The G Pro 2 has yet to make its debut at the MWC 2014. However the specifications are already out, officially. For now the handset will be made available in the Korean markets and no dates have been finalized for markets outside Korea, we will get a better idea at MWC 2014. 

The LG G Pro 2 will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz – it’s quad core coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. It is a Phablet with a 5.9 inch screen with slim bezel and supporting resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with 3GB RAM and optional 16/32GB storage. There is the MicroSD card slot to add additional storage. The G Pro 2 also includes a 2.1MP camera on the front and 13MP AF, OIS+ (OIS+ is proprietary sensor that can record 4K videos) on the rear.

This handset is 8.3mm thick and weighs about 172 grams. G Pro 2 will be available in Silver, Titan and white color options. Key features are 4G, 3G, Bluetooth 4 –Smart Ready, Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac), SlimPort, NFC, Hi-Fi sound, content lock and GPS.

The removable battery is of 3200 mAh capacity. No word about the price and released date in India.
