Intex has launched another Cloud String handset called the Intex Cloud String V2.0. If you may recall the company had launched the Intex Cloud String HD smartphone for Rs. 5,599. This one the String V2.0 comes with slightly better specifications when compared with the Cloud String HD.

This handset comes with dual SIM slot + separate micro SD card slot. Cloud String V2.0 is also using Spreadtrum SC9832A quad core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz (cortex A7) with Mali 400 GPU. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (users will get around 12GB free space) and they can use external micro SD card of up to 32GB.
Handset weight is 150 grams with battery and thickness is 8.7mm. OnCell Touch screen is of size 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution with 5 point multi touch support. The screen is also using 2.5D curved glass. There is a primary camera of 8MP resolution, it’s auto focus with f/2.2 aperture and with dual LED flash support. Front camera is a 5MP shooter (fixed focus).
Additional features supported are 4G LTE (VoLTE enabled), 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. SAR value is 0.754 W/Kg and there are 3 sensors – light, accelerometer and proximity. Another unique thing is the Finger Print sensor that is placed on the back – users can use this FP sensor to unlock smartphone, for Selfie (using one touch Selfie control) and also use FP to secure app (one Touch App Control).
The 2200 mAh Li-ion battery gives up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 190 hours of standby time on a full charge.
