Intex Mobiles have launched 2 new handsets the Intex Aqua V 3G and the Intex Aqua 3G+. Both these (dual SIM) handsets support 3G and are powered by 1GHz single core processor. The 3G+ is priced at Rs. 3,500 and the V 3G at Rs. 3,170.

These are low cost and low powered handsets, but supporting the 3G networks. The Aqua V 3G houses a 1GHz single core SC7715 SpreadTrum chipset running Android KitKat (4.4.2) with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. There is micro SD card slot that supports 32GB external cards.

The V 3G sports a 3.5 inch screen with 480 x 320 pixels (HVGA) resolution with 262K colours. A 2MP camera with flash is placed on the rear and there is a VGA camera on the front. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth and GPS. The 1300 mAh battery on the V 3G gives talk time of up to 5 hours.

Intex Aqua V 3G and 3G+ smartphones

Intex Aqua 3G+ on the other hand is also running Android 4.4.2 and is powered by SPD7715 single core 1GHz chipset. It also comes with 256MB RAM but with 2GB ROM and 32GB external card support.

The 3G+ sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA – 800 x 480 pixels resolution. A 3.2MP fixed focus camera is on the rear with flash and a VGA camera on the front. This smartphone gets about 5 to 6 hours of talk time from the 1400 mAh battery.

Both these handsets will hit the stores soon.
