Intex has launched 3 new smartphones the Intex Aqua Star, Intex Aqua Star HD and the Intex Aqua Star power. These handsets run on Android 4.4.2 and are priced at Rs. 7,000, Rs. 8,700 and Rs. 7,500 respectively.

The Aqua star, Star HD and the Star power are using the 1.3GHz quad core chipset – MediaTek MT6582 coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU. All of these handsets support dual SIM with 3G and comes loaded with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support.

The Aqua Star weight is 130 grams and is 8mm thick. It sports a 5 inch fully laminated IPS screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The handset also comes with 8MP rear AF camera with flash and 2MP front camera. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and GPS. Battery is 2000 mAh with up to 5 hours of talk time. The Intex Aqua Star is priced at Rs. 7,000.

The Aqua Star HD weight is 150 grams and is 8.1mm thick. It sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Screen is IPS and fully laminated. There is 13MP rear AF camera with flash and 5MP on the front. 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth are supported. Battery is 1800 mAh (surprisingly lower than the star) with up to 6 hours of talk time. The Star HD is priced at Rs. 8,700.

Intex Aqua Star power as the name suggests comes with a 3000 mAh battery backup. Weight with battery is 160 grams and thickness is 10.5mm. The Star power sports a 4.5 inch IPS laminated screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. There is 8MP AF camera on the rear with flash and 2MP on the front. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The 3000 mAh battery gives a talk time of up to 10 hours. Intex Aqua Star Power will hit the stores soon for Rs. 7,500.
