A new handset from Intex Mobiles, the Intex Aqua Ring that is not yet listed on the official website, is available on Amazon for Rs. 5,000. This is a dual SIM handset running Marshmallow with quad core processing power, unfortunately the handset supports 3G.

Hardware and display

This dual SIM handset is called the Intex Aqua Ring because of the ring style design on the back that includes the camera module. Inside the hood its using MediaTek MT6580A quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU. Touch screen is of size 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution (294 ppi).

Memory, storage and OS

There is 8GB of internal storage space, users will get around 5GB free space and this handset is loaded with 1GB RAM, plus micro SD card support of up to 32GB. Android Marshmallow OS runs out of the box.

Camera

Aqua Ring includes a 5MP auto focus camera on the back with single LED flash support and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front. The primary camera can shoot FHD videos.

This handset supports 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, FM radio and Bluetooth. It is 9.2mm thick and weight is 159 grams.  A 2450 mAh removable battery powers up this handset.

Aqua Ring price in India is Rs. 5,000 now available on Amazon.

This is a 3G handset, would make sense to go in for handset with 4G support. If you look at the Intex Aqua Ring handset closely, you will find that the body looks almost similar to the Asus Zenfone models.
