Intex has also launched their first KitKat powered handsets, in fact rolled out two – the Aqua N15 and the Aqua i14. Both these handsets are using the 1.3GHz quad core processor and loaded with the KitKat OS.

There are already few handsets available in the Indian markets that run KitKat over the 1.3GHz quad core processor. Though the chipset has not been disclosed it could most likely be MediaTek. Intex Mobiles have also kept the price tag quite competitive. The Intex Aqua N15 is priced at Rs. 6,090 and the Intex Aqua i14 will be available for Rs. 7,090. Both the handsets come with near about the same specifications but the i14 is a little pricy because it sports a 5 inch screen as compared to the 4 inch on the Aqua N15.

The Aqua i14 is a dual SIM handset powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor. It runs Android 4.4 over a 5 inch IPS screen with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 4GB storage (1.2GB as internal storage) and 32GB micro SD card support.

The i14 comes with 8MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Battery is 1850 mAh. The Aqua i14 is priced at Rs. 7.090 and will be available in Black and White color options.
