Huawei India has partnered with OneAssist to provide device protection and comprehensive services to end consumers. They have now announced an affordable protection plan for Honor and Huawei devices (smartphones) in India.

The Rs. 1249 Huawei Protection Plan is valid for 1 year.  This plan covers unintentional drops, accidental liquid damages etc, and apart from this there are other benefits like free pickup and drop, 24×7 assistance, cashless claim. Do note – The free pickup-drop service is available for customers on a PAN India basis.

The plan will auto activate within 15 days of purchase and provides comprehensive value to honor and Huawei customers. Huawei has 21 exclusive service centres and 250+ authorized service centres and is committed towards providing superior after sale service and a greater consumer experience.

For now  the protection plan is available for the Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 lite, and all Honor smartphones including Honor 7X, Honor V10, Honor 8 Pro.

    Please post this article. You can more details in XDA link for this.
    Huawei also stopped it’s bootloader unlock code service. So rooting is not possible any of the future Honor/Huawei phones…. For all old phones they give 60 days time to get codes. Still all this means is there would not be any development support or open sourced code for Huawei/Honor phones. A big let down for users.
