HTC Desire 820G+ MediaTek octa core launched for ₹20K

The Desire 820G+ from HTC is a MediaTek octa core powered smartphone running KitKat over a 5.5 inch screen. This handset was initially launched in Taiwan in June 2015. HTC Desire 820G+ will be available in India for ₹ 19,990.

820G+ is using the MediaTek MT6592 octa core processor @ 1.7GHz. It’s a dual SIM handset (Nano + Nano SIMs) sporting a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Handset weight with battery is 154 grams and thickness is 7.74mm.

Android KitKat is running out of the box with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and 32GB micro SD card support. The front camera is of 8MP resolution using BSI sensor and the rear camera is 13MP resolution also using BSI sensor. Both the front and the rear cameras can shoot full HD videos.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. The 2600 mAh battery as per the company gives up to 12 hours of talk time on a single charge.

The handset is listed on HTC India website and is priced at ₹19,990.
