  1. Thank you for sharing this information. It was useful and this could tempt to buy a laptop of this kind.

  2. The same laptop after discount available in us for 699 dollars. they are selling at almost double the price. I hope Indian brands rise and decimate the hegemony of Overpriced foreign brands.

  3. At a price of omen desktop I can easily assamble better gaming desktop and also buy a 150 to 180 cc bike.

  4. The HP omen 15 with core i7 and GTX 1050 2gb, is available in their US official store for 849 dollars i.e rs.56k and core i5 model is priced 80k in India, nearly 30k costlier than US, so is 30k a less amount?, I will simply import one from US for 4k extra, it’ll cost 60k for core i7 model.

  5. HP has already lost the game before they start. Why oh why does NO GLOBAL brand understand the mindset of the Indian gamer?

The same devices cost drastically less in the US as compared to their Indian pricing. I’m talking about a 15 to 20K difference at minimum. With lenovo having manufacturing capability in India, why can’t we have ‘Made in India’ gaming laptops? That would dramatically reduce import duties. Also, what is the point of launching a liquid cooling system in India? MSI’s liquid cooled gaming solution has not even a registered a blip on the Indian market with sales number being abysmally low.

We Indians loved jugaad desktops. With tutorials available online on how to build desktops, we can build the same systems with better performance at substantially lower price points. When game piracy is the norm in India, and big gaming companies try to stem the tide by reducing game prices only to find out that there was little to no boost in sales, one should understand that Indian’s think differently. A revolution in pricing for gaming hardware, like the one currently happening in mobile phones, would be a game changer.

My advice to gaming hardware companies – avoid the bells and whistles in your gaming hardware, keep things simple and make affordable systems. You WILL taste tremendous success. Avoid liquid cooling and RGB/LED keyboards, avoid high end speakers, keep RAM at 8 to 16 GB, go with 500 GB HDDs, keep screen quality decent without eyeball popping resolutions, junk the CD drive, keep build quality basic and avoid high quality plastics, but DO NOT skimp on the graphics solution – IN ESSENCE KEEP COST DOWN and provide bang for buck. Provide proof that 6 month old titles run at 35-40 FPS with setting set on high. That is enough for the majority of Indian gamers. Then sit back and watch these systems fly off the shelf!!

        1. Ps4 and Xbox are good option but I don’t know pirated games are available for it or not. I am playing game on my desktop and easily I got latest game on very cheap price. Please reply me is it possible to get latest pirated game for Xbox or ps4

    1. The arrogance shown by foreign brands is due to lack of competition in India. There is no local indigenous laptop manufacturers to complete with them. which would have forced them to price it right.
