Gionee’s GPad G5 is a Hexa Core powered Phablet sporting a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It supports dual SIM and is 7.9mm thickness. The GPad G5 will hit the stores soon for Rs. 14,999.

The Gionee GPad G5 sports a 5.5 inch screen with Dragon-trail protection and supporting HD resolution. The handset runs Amigo UI (KitKat 4.4.2). It houses the 1.5GHz MediaTek Hexa Core processor (Cortex A7) with Mali 450 MP GPU. There is 1GB RAM and 8GB on-board internal storage space. Micro SD card is supported.

The handset packs a 8MP rear AF camera with flash and 2MP front FF camera. As per the specs mentioned on their official site the rear camera can shoot HD videos. There is accelerometer, light, proximity and magnetic sensors. Additional features are 3G, 2G (EDGE/GPRS class 12), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Gionee GPad G5 hexa core for Rs. 14,999

The GPad G5 will come with a 2400 mAh battery and will be available in Black and White colour options for Rs. 14,999 (probably a little cheaper than the MRP price). The handset will be competing with Micromax Canvas HD+ selling for Rs. 11,980 and the XOLO Play 6X-1000 for Rs. 12,899.
