As per the latest rumors Gionee might soon launch Gionee Elife E6 Mini version in China. As the name suggests the E6 Mini version will be come with low end specifications and of course with a lower price tag.

It seems like the Gionee Elife E6 failed to live up to the expectations, probably because of the price and some software glitch. It is possible the Gionee might come out with another variant, with few specs changes and a low price tag.

If rumors are to be believed it could wellย  be the Gionee Elife E6 Mini. This handset will house the same body, will be powered by the same processor i.e. 1.5GHz MT6589T with SGX 544 MP and with same camera 13MP rear and 5MP front. The OS will be the same Android 4.2 with Gionee Amigo UI, however the RAM will be trimmed down to 1GB and the internal storage to 16GB.

There are some more changes like the screen will be smaller size, 4.5 inches with reduced resolution of 1280×720 pixels. In fact the battery will be of higher capacity (i.e. 3000 mAh). The specs are trimmed down with good battery backup and hopefully the price will be at a comfortable level.

This is still a rumor so better watch out for an official announcement from Gionee.
