Coolpad Mega 2.5D 4G VoLTE with 3GB RAM launched

Coolpad today launched a new handset the Coolpad Mega 2.5D in India with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. This handset comes with VoLTE support and houses a quad core MediaTek processor. Mega 2.5D will be available on Amazon.in.

Coolpad Mega 2.5D features and specifications

As the name suggests the Mega 2.5D is using 2.5D curved glass screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Screen size is 5.5 inches. This is a dual SIM handset that houses the MediaTek MT6735P quad core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU.

Coolpad Mega 2.5D weighs around 143 grams and thickness is 7.8mm. CoolUI version 8.0 over Android Marshmallow 6.0 runs the show with 3GB on-board RAM and 16GB ROM. Users can also use max 32GB micro SD card.

When it comes to the camera – on the back there is an 8MP AF Lens using SONY sensor with LED flash support and front facing camera is also of 8MP resolution for better selfies. Key features are 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. Finger print sensor is missing.

This smartphone is listed on Amazon.in for Rs. 6,999. The first flash sale will be on 24th August at 2PM, registration is required.

The Mega 2.5D price wise is competing with the Redmi 3S – both at Rs. 6,999 and without finger print sensor.
