Celkon mobiles have launched the Xion S CT695 phablet, well it just missed being called a tablet by 0.05 inches. The Celkon Xion S CT695 sports a 6.95 inch screen and is priced at Rs. 7,299. This Phablet sails on Android KitKat and will be available soon.

The Celkon Xion S CT695 houses the MT8312 MediaTek dual core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It runs Android 4.4.2 with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support. It’s a dual SIM Phablet with 3G support (GSM+GSM).

The screen as already mentioned is 6.95 inches and it supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution (there are no dedicated navigation buttons). It is a capacitive IPS screen. Also included – a primary camera of 5MP resolution without flash and a secondary VGA camera. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

The CT695 comes with 2500 mAh battery with a talk time of up to 3 hours. Celkon Xion S CT695 weighs about 250 grams (with battery) and thickness is 8.5mm. This Celkon Phablet will be available for Rs. 7,299.

I guess the screen size really does not matter, it is safe to call this a tablet, and 2500 mAh battery might seem too less.
