I want Ubuntu or Windows full OS to be used in 6″ mobile.
Tab le lo itna rayta kyu failate ho bhai.. ya phir kisi chinese brand ko mail kar do aur apne liye set bana lo 😀
Dude.. don’t be too sarcastic.
Infact that’s where the world will go in a few years time. The same phone which is used when connected to a dock will become full desktop.
Microsoft is going to introduce this feature on Windows 10 mobile called continuum
When Ubuntu OS was Releasing they meant to keep price in the lower side..
But this phone’s price is on higher side….
I predicts that this ubuntu os will rule the smartphone market after android. I am using ubuntu on my PC. Its a great experience for me.
I am looking for a new laptop, I find ubuntu laptops to be high specs at low price should I buy an ubuntu laptop considering I have never used ubuntu all the main requirements are decent multimedia and office apps like power point notepad etc how is your experience? also how is gaming on ubuntu.
If this ubuntu phone gives lifetime update of future ubuntu version release then I will definitely buy it even if it cost more.
R.I.P BQ
Too costly when compare the config.
Too much overpriced only Ubuntu Touch os is new else is old hardware, price should be between 5-6k.
Just for testing new os we have to spend 13k?
hahaha 🙂
there is “BIG NOOOOO”!!!!
Pass…
Will Ubuntu support android apps.
Note 5 killer.
Good joke of the year!!!!!!
BQ Aquaris when was the last date you went into hibernation? this is 2015 august month!
I never experienced or seen the Ubuntu OS, how friendly and optimized it is…? I tried in YouTube for reviews but none of them were in English. Gogi, what is your opinion about this new OS and the phone, how reliable and user friendly it is. How about the Apps availability…? will you be reviewing this mobile?..
I am not sure if I will be reviewing this, the biggest issue is will android apps work, cause if there is no such option then you will find most of the important apps missing that we use in your day to day life particularly whatsapp.
Hi Gogi, I was just curious to experience the New OS. The FireFox OS and the Tizen OS didn’t pickup the market and I feel like I need a new OS or experience. That is why I am waiting for the Flyme experience from MX5. Yes, as you said if there is no Android app support then as mentioned my someone why should we spend 13K to test a new OS.. 🙂
Yuvaraja, I am not sure if it supports Android app.
Ubuntu Touch OS doesn’t support Android apps. But they are in process to get the most used apps in near future. There is a concept called ‘Scope’ that will be an unique to this OS.
There are videos on YouTube. Also you may try the Ubuntu launcher and the lock screen from play store.(unofficial mimics only).
Is it ubuntu or blackberry os?:p
hehehehe…. 11,900 & 13,499 … for 1GB RAM & quadcore CPU….BQ Aquaris wake up ….this is 2015 not 1990…. redmi note 2, Coolpad dazen note 3 and many other Mobiles with octa core CPU, 2gb RAM…high end spec for less than Rs10,000. if we want uduntu on our mobiles lots of doc available online..

Could have at the sales chart on fire in Lord Curzons era..
why this kolaveri………………..
I really want to see some OS that can beat Android and provide more options for people to choose.
Android is growing faster, but it is requiring more internal space and processing speeds to make it work smooth.
Windows could not beat it. Lets see what Ubuntu can do.
Ubuntu touch is running on CyanogenMod again its android based 😛
Who said you this foolish thing? Ubuntu is a linux OS which is as everybody knows is open source OS but it’s not running on Cyanogen nor it’s an Android based OS. Moreover Cyanogen is an Independent software giant and why the f*ck will they support Ubuntu?
Dude u must be aware that android is based on Linux.
“Little knowledge is really a very dangerous thing”
:-)) :-p
Ya dude i know that but i just wanted to let him know that ubuntu is not based on stock android nor cyanogen(which is also android based after market ROM and Android is Linux based. Also Ubuntu is linux based ).
