At an event in Brazil Asus not only announced the other range of Zenfone 2 models but also announced a new special variant – The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe special edition with a mind-blowing 256GB of internal storage space.

The Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition (what it is called) is powered by 2.5GHz 64 bit Atom Processor Z3580 and it does come with 4GB RAM. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting full HD – 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

And as already mentioned the key attraction is the 256GB of internal storage space. This is a dual SIM handset with dual active mode with 4G LTE cat 6 support. On the camera part a 13MP AF camera with LED flash is packed on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. These are PixelMaster cameras.

Asus ZenUI with Android 5.0 runs out of the box. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This Z3580 Intel Atom chipset supports fast charging and hence comes Asus BoostMaster fast charging technology.

I know 256GB is a huge space on a mobile, but there are some who will never be satisfied, they would want more space, well they won’t be disappointed – there is micro SD card slot too, can add up to 128GB of external storage space.

The Deluxe Special edition gets power from a 3000 mAh battery. Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will hit the store in Brazil in September – the price has not yet been disclosed.

  1. Asus is really nice spec, but i feel design is old model, great if Asus changes the new design with look and feel.

  2. xolo, karbonn, micromax please read this news and make at least 64gb phones with expandable memory upto 64gb with microsd we are tired with 16+32g combination since now a days lots of full hd videos and movies

  3. Peaks of nonsense all the sound from single speaker, nothing but a mono. Like Samsung double curves, these guys r following depths storage. Watching something 4k on 5.5screen with mono speaker, Asus’isam, like autism.

  4. I just don’t get it,What is the problem with the ZenFone’s and their battery…Asus always introduces mindblowing specs vth really dissatisfied battery capacity..5.5″ FHD screen 4GB ram and 3000 mah battery, come on Asus aren’t u providing enough salary to ur engineers.wake up..still using ZenFone 5 and the battery backup sucks….Asus should sell their ZenFone’s in combo vth a power bank…

    1. Yeah right but even if they sell it with a power bank, the power bank itself will get tired……!
      Battery on Asus zenfone2 sucks….

    2. It is the Intel processor to be blamed for low battery life in older zenfones. But the Latest zenfone Laser with snapdragon 410 has very good battery life….in fact as per latest reviews on net its among the best in terms of battery life.

  5. haha.. . nice joke gogi. I just wonder who is the person would be disappointed if 128 gb ext. sd option was not included in this phone.!

      1. Agree, space is never enough….mainly due to tons of video files we have in our collection…and we are constantly moving to higher definition format like from 3gp to mp4,720p to 1080p and in future to 4k….as we move to higher definition formats it needs more space to store. That’s why we will never be satisfied.

  6. Wow incredible search 256GB internal with 4GB ram and Intel processor but battery would be 4000Mah then this is monster flagship killer of 2016
