Features and Specifications
You can get the UX303U with Intel Core i5 (6th Gen) processor or with Intel Core i7 (6th Gen) processor. The one I got for the review came with Core i5 (6200U) clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with Nvidia GeForce 940M GPU with dedicated 2GB graphics RAM.
This laptop comes with 8GB of RAM and 1TB HDD (SATA RMP 5400), there are 2 partitions C: and D: drive. On the front there is a HD camera. UX303U comes with backlit keyboard, built in Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 2 in 1 card reader, 3x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, mini VGA port, mic, dual speakers and audio powered by ICEpower.
64 Bit Windows 10 OS runs out of the box on this 64 Bit hardware. One of the 3 USB 3.0 ports comes with USB charger+ technology that will charge connected device up to 50% faster when compared with other laptops and the device still gets charged when the laptop goes into sleep mode or when it is switched off. The spacious touchpad supports smart gestures.
Performance and battery life
Performance was smooth; I did not find any noticeable issues. This hardware is powerful along with GeForce 940M GPU. It can play many high end games. This laptop is perfect for office work, entertainment, music, image / video editing and gaming (to some extent).
The 3 cell battery life is decent you can expect 3 to 5 hours of non-stop moderate mixed usage.
Verdict and price in India
What makes ZenBook UX303U extra ordinary is the looks, the size and the weight – the perfect, powerful hardware that you can easily carry and get your work done on the move. A very good buy but does come for a premium price.
Rating 4 out of 5.
Asus Zenbook UX303U (with i5 processor) is available from Rs. 71,500.
What’s the startup boot time taken?
How is the cooling fan noise when running high end games/applications?
and what about heating?
Not much heatup unless you are playing games. And operation is almost noiseless.
Acer Aspire ES1-521 (NX. G2KSI.

Better upgrade your desktop. Personally if it’s for gaming, then desktop are more preferential. Also you can get at a cheaper price then laptops.
LENOVO G40-45 is the best laptop under 25000 ..
The screen issue is not a very big issue if you updated the original video card drivers .
I can play GTA-V with 25-45 FPS with 1024 resolution and low settings.
please review Asus e202s netbook (with 500gb HDD) Gogi-san..
The standard plan should be be have Windows on a 128 gb or 256 gb SSD drive plus offer a separate slot for storage where you can load either a further SSD drive or HDD drive depending on your needs. On the storage slot, you should be able to mount a HDD drive up to 3 tb and a SSD drive up to 512 gb. Further provide a separate power button for the storage unit so you can only power it on when you need it. I don’t know why they won’t adopt this simple plan even in expensive laptops when it can be made standard even in sub-20k laptops.
But nice to see a large trackpad here. Gogi, did you check out the smoothness of scrolling etc with this trackpad? Asus is one of the companies trying to offer a better Windows trackpad experience even with their cheaper laptops(even the Eebook is well-known for an excellent trackpad)
Scrolling is very smooth, you need to use two finger swipe up / down.
Gtx940m for such price is wastage of money.
Gogi bro please bring back the upcoming reviews section.
