Viber Media has rolled out an important updated for Windows phone 8, the Viber 4.0. This version now comes packed with the latest feature also incorporating the Viber sticker market to the Windows platform.
With the Viber 4.0 version windows phone 8 users will be able to download many paid / free sticker market. Users will now be able to hide notifications. And there is considerable improvement in loading / resuming speed and push notification delivery.
There are other features included for example Viber users can now see the status of their messages i.e. know if their messages have been read – this is similar feature as seen on Whatsapp. Users will also be able to see the last online status and can add descriptions to photos. The photo thumbnails in conversations has also been improved.
Viber Media had first rolled out the updates for Android devices a few days back and now it is available on the Windows platform. Viber 4.2 for iPhone will be rolled out in the coming days.
