Samsung’s strategy is to fill every mobile phone market is incredible…even though those phones are powered by JAVA os, they are going to affect sales of Asha 309 and asha 310.

Most unfortunate thing is that. These phones are not available in Android platform. They are java powered :(

To be honest, all the phones in the list are absolutely useless. How dare samsung to release this many phones with 1000mAs battery?? even low end nokia java phones have above 1000mAs… samsung is very useless and cheating people… i m sure that the charge won’t even last for 1 day. you will see the right behaviour of phone after usage of few months..u must carry your charger where ever you go. otherwise the phone is worth may be low cost also….

At present, nokia asha like 309 is the king of lite smartphones with third party app support, albeit a little. The only interesting thing to see is how samsung’s full touchwiz UI will create it’s magic. I liked starII for it’s UI, good display and touch response but disliked for app support as compared to nokia. Also the REX 90′s (which is only appealing) price is insanely close to galaxy androids. I think these phones should atleast stay Rs1.5k away from tier-1 androids like galaxy pocket.

Touch wizz s**ks ! especially for bada os … these days mobiles users are app maniacs …simple saying no to any OS if no apps . now i came to know why samsung said they will ship 500 million phones in 2013 , in that 250 millions will be REX series it seems ….

Asha 311for sure ,it is very good looking phone but it has wifi issues but 2g and 3g is awesome, u can search in google about wifi issues. apart from this its an ultimate phone . great light weight os ,with wonderful touch screen with gorilla glass for protection and s40 smartphone like UI, decent apps for a basic user (no pdf (mediocre epub reader)or document viewer) .

Now Samsung is removing its scrap or what?

Ayub February 15, 2013 at 1:01 pm

No reason as why samsung’s these feature phone populating the market. Best thing samsung would have done if they have offered their ailing Bada OS in these phones. These are nothing but their STAR series phones with new jackets.
